Wisdom from a Fallen Athlete
As an avid football fan, I was one again saddened to hear more bad news concerning former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarrett. Caught in a chase with police, Clarrett was found with a bulletproof vest, multiple weapons and vodka. Michael Wilbon’s commentary on this is a good reminder that wisdom is both a community and an individual effort. I pray for his salvation, not just from his horrible choices as an athlete, but more importantly, the salvation of his soul from the judgment of God.
