I don’t know if any of you have kept up with the national weather, but there is another crisis emerging besides the California fires. There has been a serious drought in the Southeastern parts of the country. In fact, Georgia has declared that they have enough water for only 90 days, and there doesn’t look like substantial relief is in the near future. Tom Ascol and others in the south are praying for God to bring rain to these regions. Please pray that God will send rain, and that hearts will be softened not just to receive rain, but to receive the revelation of God that they need more than just water to survive; they need God to intervene with mercy on their souls through Jesus our Savior. May the South, and all of America receive the living water, that they may thirst no more (Jn. 4).
